Care Homes Celebrates Five Years of Excellence

Care Homes by Hale Makua has a lot to celebrate this year. The program celebrated its 5th anniversary and recently received a citation free survey on an unannounced inspection. Surveyors tour the rooms looking for concerns such as neglected upkeep of environment and signs of resident neglect. They also interview staff and residents, and occasionally review clinical records.
This is a tremendous accomplishment for the Care Homes team. We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, and continued dedication to providing the best possible care for our residents for the past five years.
Care Homes by Hale Makua is a State-licensed Adult Residential Care Home that can accommodate up to 22 resident. It offers around the clock compassionate care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse for individuals in need of minimal to moderate assistance with personal care, or those living with dementia who need a safe, secure living environment. Respite care for three to 30 days is also available.
