Honoring Our Veterans

Hale Makua Health Services honored our Veterans for their service, sacrifice and dedication with a celebration on November 11th. The Veterans Day celebration included hula performances, recognition, and words of appreciation to those residents that willingly served and sacrificed for justice, peace and the common good.
In the photo above are the twenty Veterans residing at our Kahului homes that enjoyed the celebration. We also have two Veterans that reside at our Wailuku homes. These men valiantly fought for the freedoms we have and enjoy today. A few of these men have received high honors for their service in the Armed Forces.
Mahalo to Na Pua O Kapiolani Hula Halau who helped pay tribute to our Veterans with outstanding hula performances. We are very proud of all of our Veterans and grateful for the history they carry on in our community.
