National Nursing Assistant Week

Wailukucna_na_week2

National Nursing Assistant Week ran from June 18th - 24th where we recognize the critical work that our Nursing Assistants (NA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) do for our community. It takes a special kind of person to serve in this role, providing care and showing kindness to those who are unable to care for themselves. NAs and CNAs feed, bathe, dress, transfer, and provide a wide array of services for our residents. It is hard work, but they do their jobs with pride and compassion, often growing special bonds with those in their care.

Mahalo to our CNAs and NAs for their dedication and commitment, and for also being proactive and flexible during these unprecedented times. Our wonderful staff help keep our kupuna happy, healthy, and strong.
