Housekeeper - Wailuku

Job Description

The Housekeeper sweeps, mops, scours, scrubs, dusts, waxes, and polishes, etc., floors, walls, bathrooms, screens, windows, wheelchairs and furniture, etc.  Collects and disposes of trash.  Changes cubicle curtains and drapes.  Operates Housekeeping equipment and machines including the vacuum cleaner, scrubbing machine, etc.  Assists in the Laundry and/or distributes laundry/linen as assigned or scheduled.  Maintains the confidentiality of resident care information.  The Housekeeper is responsible to the Environmental Services manager and must work closely with the staff members of the Housekeeping Department.  Frequent contact with all staff members in the performance of duties and occasional interaction with residents and their families.

Part-time (evening shift).

 

Job Requirements

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.  Institutional or hotel experience helpful.  Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and be able to work weekends and holidays from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

 

Compensation Start Wages: $13.34/h
