Celebrating 107 Years of Life

Imagine turning 107 years old, the events you’ve witnessed, experiences you’ve had, people you’ve met, and memories you’ve created. For most of us, turning 107 is a feat in and of itself, but for Louise Lucas it was just another birthday.
There’s something special about Louise. Maybe it’s the fact that her first plane ride at age 100 was out of the small New York town that she grew up in to move to Maui with her grandson, Rob. Perhaps it’s her bold sense of style or her spitfire New York boldness that’s kept her so lively for so many years. Whatever it is, it’s working for this still walking, fast talking lady.
Louise enjoys the simple things in life, people watching, going out for a bite to eat, or a little shopping. A hot cup of coffee is rarely turned down. She loves watching others sing and dance, and being present for any joyous occasion. Louise has been in our care for two years, and it’s been an absolute pleasure!
