Maui Charities Benefit from 5k Walk

Thank you to all those who support the Maui Visitor Industry Charity Walk by walking the 5km route, raising individual pledges, and/or making a donation. Without your support, we wouldn't have been able to raise $55,000, and place 3rd for Nonprofit Raising the Most Funds.
Plus all of the money that we raised go even further in helping to provide financial assistance to Hale Makua residents who are unable to afford the cost of living at a nursing home, because a percentage of funds raised is matched by the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association.
A huge mahalo to Board Director, Mitch Mitchell, for raising $21,820 and taking 2nd place for Individual Raising the Most Funds! Our continuous success at this event would not be possible without him and his tremendous dedication.
This year's walk, held on May 10th, included 3,196 walkers and raised $767,495 for Maui's charities.
