National Occupational Therapy Month

April is National Occupational Therapy month where we recognize the important role Occupational Therapists (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) have in our community. People who are recovering from injuries or illnesses sometimes have trouble with completing regular tasks and their daily activities. OTs and COTAs are there to help them regain the skills needed to return to living their normal lives.

Our team of OTs and COTAs (pictured above) in Rehab by Hale Makua and in Home Health have done tremendous work for our residents and clients. They are patient and encouraging with those they serve, and residents often express how wonderful their experiences are with our therapists. We are fortunate to have such a hardworking and dedicated occupational therapy team.
