New Board Directors Elected

Four new Board Directors were recently elected to the Hale Makua Health Services Board: Len Inokuma (not pictured), Melvin Kawano, Cathy Nobriga Kim, and Sharon Sodetani. Ms. Sodetani fills the unfilled three year term of Bob Cole. Mr. Inokuma, Mr. Kawano, and Mrs. Nobriga Kim were each appointed to serve a five year term.
Len Inokuma is a Vice President and residential appraiser at ACM Consultants. He graduated from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Real Estate Finance. Mr. Inokuma is a former Board member of the Saint Anthony Grade School Board.
Cathy Nobriga Kim is Vice President of Roselani Ice Cream, the frozen division of Maui Soda & Ice Works. She is currently the Board President for Saint Anthony Junior Senior High School board, and also severs on the Board of A Keiki’s Dream.
Melvin Kawano is the Finance Manager for Kahului Trucking & Storage, an Alexander & Baldwin business. He graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa with a Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.
Sharon Sodetani is recently retired from a 40 year career as manager at United Airlines. She is a graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor in Science Journalism. Mrs. Sodetani is an active member of the Maui Realty Suites Association of Apartment Owners Board and World Wings International, the philanthropic organization of former Pan Am Flight Attendants.
Michael Munekiyo will continue to serve as Board Chair; Roy Sakamoto was elected as Treasurer; and Donna McCleary, MD, was re-elected as Secretary.
