Visitor Industry Charity Walk Raises Over $860k

Mahalo to all those who participated in this year's Visitor Industry Chairty Walk. Together Maui County raised an impressive $863,268! Plus, all funds that Maui County raised will benefit Maui non-profit organizations like Hale Makua Health Services.
On August 12th, the Makena Golf and Beach Resort hosted the Charity Walk reception for all of the non-profits who benefitted from the funds raised. Hale Makua Health Services was presented with a plaque for 2nd place for Most Funds Raised by an Organization, and former Board Member, and long time supporter, Mitch Mitchell took home 2nd place for Most Funds Raised by an Individual raising $14,790 this year. We are extremely grateful for Mitch's dedication to this event and our organization. He has worked tirelessly over the past 13 years, to raise awareness for Hale Makua Health Services, and has raised a total of $120,000 for our organization through the Visitor Industry Charity Walk!
