Each week we take our Hale Makua Kahului residents to go shopping at Walmart, and they absolutely love it. They enjoy shopping for what is on their list, looking at all the plants in the garden section, and of course stopping in at McDonalds for a tasty treat. We love Walmart even more now because of their SparkGood program for non-profits. When you shop on Walmart.com, you can round up your purchases to donate your spare change to Hale Makua. We even have a gift registry that allows people to purchase things for our activities departments in Kahului or Wailuku, and items purchased through the registry are shipped directly to us!
